The time and date need to be set properly on your display to ensure they power on and off at the correct time. This helps extend the life of your display, and save electricity. 

Things you will need:

• Samsung Remote

Power on Display and Verify Time

• Power on display (if it is not already on).
  • Press the power button on the Samsung Remote (it is located in the top left corner of the remote).
• Press the 'Menu' button on the remote. 
• Use the arrow keys to navigate to 'System'
  • Press the 'Select' or 'Enter' key on the remote (the button at the center of the arrows.
• Use the arrow keys to navigate and select 'Time'
• Select 'Clock Set'
• Verify that the date and time shown are the correct date and time.
• If they are incorrect select the Date or Time and use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust.
• Use the 'Return' button on the remote to go back to the previous screen at any point, or press it repeatedly to exit out of the menu.
