Simple Troubleshooting For Samsung Commercial Displays

This article is for troubleshooting Samsung Commercial Displays (Tizen) 


Verify Display/TV Is Powered On 

  • Press the power button on your Samsung Remote to attempt to power on the display. 
  • The power button will not shut off other displays, it is OK to press it multiple times. 
  • If the Display/TV does not power on with the remote, try pressing the power button on the display (if it is mounted in a way to allow access. 
    • The power button for Samsung Displays is located at the bottom center of the display (in Landscape orientation). 
  • Once the TV powers on, if it is displaying content and playing as it should, please contact us so we can verify connectivity. 

Check Network Settings on the Display/TV

  • Press the 'Menu' button on the remote. 
  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to 'Network'
  • In the Network menu select 'Network Status' 
    • The display will run a test
    • If the automatic test says 'Your Device is Connected to the Internet' - you can select the close option.
    • If it the automatic test tells you that the Device is Not Connected to the internet, please take a photo of this screen and send it to us either via text at 855-961-0700 or email it to [email protected] 


Check Time Settings on the Display/TV

  • Press the menu button the Samsung remote.
  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to System 
    • Select the Time option
    • Select the Clock Set option. 
    • Verify that the date and time are correct.
    • If they are incorrect, use the remote to adjust the date and time to the correct values.
  • Once the time is set, press the home button on the remote. 
  • Select the very first option on the menu across the bottom, it should be labeled 'URL Launcher' 
  • The display will load the application and content.
  • If it still fails to load, please contact us. 
  • If the content loads as it should, please send us a text at 855-961-0700 so we may verify that the device is connected.
